Times like these are truly special. The concert was a spectacle! I was fortunate to attend the Nashville, Tennessee stop on the tour. This is Addison’s first major concert tour, and I knew immediately that I wanted to be there to witness it. I adore this album! For a new performer, she has remarkable stage presence, confidence, and potential. She’s an exceptionally talented dancer, and the audience absolutely loved her. The show was highly interactive and entertaining. Let’s dive into all the details. Put your headphones on!

The Addison Tour marks Addison Rae's first concert tour. Originally from Louisiana, Addison is an American singer who relocated to Los Angeles and rose to fame through her dance videos on TikTok. The tour includes 32 performances across North America, Europe, and Australia. Nashville was the 12th stop, featuring no opening acts. The concert was held at The Pinnacle, a truly beautiful venue, which I visited for the first time.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the show! Addison has a distinctive IT girl vibe and exudes a lively energy, charm, and stage presence during her performance. She was born to perform. I was truly impressed with the choreography and the seamless flow of the entire concert. She invited fans on stage, tossed money confetti featuring her face, and showcased several adorable and sexy costume changes. In my view, her persona strongly resembles a young Britney Spears. She succeeds in transforming the entire room into a massive dance party. It's exactly the type of show I would envision for a rising pop star.

Vocally, I think she faces some challenges. She is clearly new to singing and performing, and I suspect there is considerable lip syncing involved. She manages to conceal it well, and her team excels at blending her live vocals with prerecorded ones. This is typical of a true pop star. She’s dancing, jumping, and putting on a show. As a newcomer to the industry with a demanding tour schedule, this approach doesn’t surprise me and seems appropriate. When we do hear her actual vocals, some parts were stronger than others, while some sounded quite weak. It was somewhat inconsistent. This was an aspect I found somewhat unimpressive, though not entirely disappointing.

The stage features a very simple set. There’s a beautiful chandelier, a gate with the letter ‘A’ for Addison, a rolling staircase, and a small platform with two steps. They use a lot of lighting effects to create a mood for each song, which works wonderfully, and I believe they incorporate some fog as well. The money confetti is incredibly fun, and I loved it! She has a small group of dancers. The whole setup almost feels like a burlesque show. I think it fits the overall vibe perfectly, and I really enjoy what they’re doing here. The concert is fun, fast-paced, and offers a good mix of her entire album along with some old hits. Although her catalogue isn’t extensive, she still manages to deliver an hour and a half of solid entertainment. I love how she interacts with the audience, though I wish there was a bit more of that.

Favorite Moments:

  • Opening with “Fame is a Gun” was absolutely perfect. The audience was wild, and I was just as excited.

  • “Von Dutch Remix” was super fun! She invited random fans on stage to join her in the iconic scream. This was a moment I truly loved.

  • “High Fashion” is such a catchy song, and I loved the choreography they performed.

  • During “Headphones On,” the crowd went absolutely crazy, and it was a blast singing along with her.

  • “Money is Everything” featured that unforgettable confetti moment and is such a fun song overall. This was a standout part of the show.

  • Saving the best for last with “Diet Pepsi.” The dress, the incredible vocals, and the loud cheers from the crowd made this song a highlight. It’s amazing live.

This was an excellent show, and I really enjoyed myself! While there is certainly room for improvement, she's just beginning her career and is doing a commendable job. She's undoubtedly a talented dancer and performer. Although I wasn't completely amazed, the show met my expectations, if that makes sense. I'm eager to follow her journey. I believe she has immense potential, and her team is doing a fantastic job in shaping her career. If you get the opportunity to attend the Addison Tour, I believe it's worthwhile, and if you're an Addison fan like I am, it's an event you definitely won't want to miss.
